We take safety very seriously at HR Resolutions. As part of your safety program, we want to remind you that OSHA Logs are to be posted from February 1 - April 30, 2009.
For those of you in offices, medical practices and other facilities that aren't used to OSHA log record-keeping - manufacturers are generally much more accustomed to OSHA's requirements - here's a Cliff Note's version of what you need to know.
The OSHA log (OSHA Form 300) is a form for accurately recording and measuring an important aspect of workplace safety: the number of injuries and illnesses among its workers.
The OSHA log serves as the official record of work-related injuries and illnesses for a work establishment, as required by law. Everyone can review the log.
Many of you will have no incidents or a minimal number and this may seem like an inconvenience. But, you need to stay in compliance with OSHA's regulations and a bit of record-keeping today can save a lot of headaches tomorrow.
For additional information or help with OSHA's regs, give us a call or go to www.osha.gov for forms and additional information.
