Did you know...you don't have to panic with every mailing that tells you it's time to order new Compliance Posters?
You will find they are a clever marketing program designed to get you to purchase that company's set of nicely laminated, multi-colored Federal and State employment posters! Don't get me wrong, they are usually not that expensive and they do provide a great service - some even provide you with annual "update" insurance (but employment posters really don't change that much from one year to the next!)
As you are aware, you do need to have certain employment posters hung "conspicuously" (in plain view) but they don't have to be fancy, laminated posters. You are more than welcome to download the FREE (yes, free) posters from the various agencies. These can be printed off locally and hung on a corkboard where you accept applications - it's really as simple as that!
